1. Differences in processing methods
The CNC uses a lathe to process the parts one by one, and the vacuum casting process is made a prototype by cnc machining or 3D printing at first, and then a silicone mold is made according to prototype and then copied.
2. Difference in processing time
Everyone knows that CNC machining requires lathe processing one by one, and vacuum casting can be copied as long as the silicone mold is made. Generally, a silicone mold can produce 8-20 products, which is much faster than CNC machining!
3. Accuracy difference
The accuracy of CNC machining will be much higher than the accuracy of vacuum casting. The accuracy of CNC machining is generally between 0.1-0.01mm and the accuracy of vacuum casting is generally between 0.1-0.2mm.
4. Price difference
In terms of price, the CNC machining part is more expensive than the same part on the vacuum casting.
